Responsibilities
Our highly trained cardiac nurses provide specialized care for a variety of cardiac conditions including recovery from coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement surgery status post 24 hours ICU stay, heart failure, myocardial infarction, heart arrhythmias, and cardiac post-procedural care.
Caring for patients admitted to our heart and vascular unitCollaborating with cardiologists, EKG techs, echo techs, and othersMonitoring and interpretation of patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms and communicate any changes indicating a more serious condition
You’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery and prevention of reoccurring issues thanks to the care plans you develop and implementWe are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus for this position.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in NursingMinimum 1 year RN work in PCU, IMCU, and/or Telemetry with experience with cardiac drips RN license in good standing with the Texas Board of NursingAmerican Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NIH
