In the role of Project Accountant 1, we'll count on you to: Take responsibility for client invoicing, collections management and project budgeting, as well as backup assistance on coding and processing A/P, time sheets, and expense reportsConduct accurate contract documentation, administration and maintenance including fee and budget entryWork with section and project personnel to provide timely contract performance data and resolve financial issuesCoordinate the project accounting system within the department and work with technical staff to ensure compliance with contractual requirementsAssist multiple project managers and staff on a daily basisClient invoicing and collections managementProject setup and budgetingTake responsibility for preparing project subconsultant agreements, purchase orders and work confirmations, processing subconsultant invoices, pulling time sheets, and expense report backup for invoicingCoordinate with PMs for document filing in Project Wise and maintain all aspects of document control for projectsPrepare contracts/amendments using approved company templatesAssist with writing project management plans and quality plansMonitoring and tracking deliverablesTaking meeting minutesAssist multiple project managers and staff on a daily basisComplete tasks autonomouslyPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingA minimum of 5 years of experience; an advanced degree may offset years of experienceRequired Qualifications
Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience Familiarity with Earned Value Management Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented Ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $52,000 - $75,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
