Description We are offering a contract for a Project Accountant role in the construction industry, based in Dallas, Texas. As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable, reconciling credit cards, and handling job cost and project reconciliations. You will also be responsible for vendor maintenance and communication, including 1099 reporting, and accounts receivable management. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain accounts payable • Perform credit card reconciliations • Administer contracts, lien waivers, and insurance • Conduct job cost and project reconciliations • Handle vendor maintenance and communication, including 1099 reporting • Oversee accounts receivable • Ensure proper receipt and recording of packages • Utilize Foundation accounting software for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management. • Demonstrated ability in Credit Card Reconciliation. • Solid experience in Job Cost accounting. • Familiarity with Form 1099 requirements and processes. • Experience with processing and tracking Approved Invoices. • Ability to accurately Code Invoices for various projects. • Strong skills in entering and managing Vendor Invoices. • Proven ability in handling Customer Invoices. • Knowledge of Payable Invoices procedures and best practices. • Ability to Prepare Invoices in a timely and accurate manner. • Strong attention to detail to Verify Invoices for completeness and accuracy. • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Aged Receivables management. • Experience with handling Credit Card Receipts. • Ability to manage Daily Cash Receipts and Daily Receipts. • Strong understanding of Costing principles in the construction industry. • Familiarity with WIP - Work In Progress accounting. • Proficiency in using Foundation Software for accounting purposes.
