Project Accountant

Through a mix of sound strategy, breakthrough creative and flawless execution, we create memorable trade show exhibits, live and virtual events, brand activations, retail stores, corporate environments and other immersive experiences that deepen relationships, inspire action, and build trust--and we do it all over the world. **Summary** As Project Accountant, you will work with the Finance Business Partner as well as the wider Creative, Client Services and Production teams to support accurate monthly reporting/forecasting and to help drive performance insight for individual projects. Applicants should have some experience of financial reporting as well as collaborative working across finance and non-finance teams. This position will support our EMEA Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office one day a week at our Stoneleigh location. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Preparing and updating month-end files and reports + Preparing standard journals including collating back-up + Reviewing and reporting project revenue and direct costs + Supporting monthly reporting, forecasting and timely performance insight + Supporting the wider finance team with project related queries and statutory audit requests + Assist with monitoring project progress and performance + Supporting timeliness of project billing + Variance analysis and forecast accuracy + Assist with project reconciliations + Assist with scheduling project review meetings + Ensuring correct documentation checks for audit purposes + Ad-hoc project analysis and reporting + Systems Administration (new users set-up/profile maintenance) + Ad-hoc support for Accounts Payable / other finance support as needed. **Education & Experience** + Early stages of ACCA/CIMA (study support available, ACCA Accredited Employer status) + Experience in financial reporting/analysis + Demonstrable experience of effective time management/prioritization, ability to work independently + Fluent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to identify problems and determine possible solutions + Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel knowledge **Travel Requirements** Travel up to 25% **Diversity Commitment** At Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
