Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Accountant in Tukwila, Washington. This role is within the engineering consulting sector and will be based in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment. As a Project Accountant, you will be playing a crucial role in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and managing vendor transactions. Responsibilities: • Handling general ledger tasks and ensuring all financial records are accurate • Managing accounts receivable by tracking overdue accounts, recording cash receipts, and handling deposits • Overseeing accounts payable, including processing check runs and vendor invoice coding • Interacting with Project Managers to gather necessary documentation and process final invoices to clients • Processing a monthly batch of 120-150 invoices • Reviewing contracts and billing terms to ensure accurate invoicing • Preparing and submitting B& O Tax returns to city and state authorities • Utilizing accounting software systems, including Deltek Vision, for various accounting functions • Participating in audits and implementing any recommended changes • Assisting in other accounting tasks as needed Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with Costpoint • Knowledge of Deltek and Deltek Vision • Ability to use About Time software • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Strong skills in Auditing Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
