Project Accounting Coordinator
Project Accounting Coordinator What we are looking for: We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accounting Coordinator here at Aldridge Electric. In this role you will work with Project Accountants and Project Managers to submit invoices / pay estimates / waivers to customers along with any other documentation required by our contract. You will also Follow through on all approved billings to ensure timely collection of funds. What you’ll do: + Monitor pay estimates from pencil through funding stage. + Develop and report job specific cash management plans. + Prepare billing package as required per contract specifications. + Coordinate and ensure the collection of various required documentation from subcontractors and suppliers (payroll reports, fuel/equipment reports, insurance certificates, drug testing reports, waivers of lien, etc.). + Monitor change order status through each stage. + Work in conjunction with Accounts Payable to coordinate subcontract and supplier payments as determined by the terms of each contract. + Perform other duties assigned and/or assume additional responsibilities as required. Who you are: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience. + Great organization, time-management, and prioritization skills. Ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to multitask and to work independently and efficiently. + Excellent Communication skills and work ethic. + Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. + Proficiency in both the Microsoft Office and Google suites. + Ability to be a strong but diplomatic advocate for your ideas in front of executives.
