We are seeking a dedicated and people-focused Project Accounting Manager with extensive experience in revenue analysis, revenue recognition, and AEC billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Deltek Vantagepoint and a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of project accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment Analyze revenue data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for revenue enhancement Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and standards and assist in reviewing and forecasting project performance Manage AEC billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint for revenue management, billing, and reporting Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue management Work closely with area leaders, the VP of Operations Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure revenue alignment and support business objectives Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations Effectively deliver complex project and revenue recognition matters to Project Managers, Finance staff, and leadership
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; higher education preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue analysis, revenue recognition, and AEC billing with 3 years of proven experience in managing and developing teams Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) Certified Project Accounting Professional (CPAP) or Certified Management Accountant preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data Proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration and stakeholder management
