Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a team of 5+ project accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members across various locations.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee and ensure accuracy in the general ledger, including reconciliation of project costs and revenues, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly for large-scale projects.
Job Costing & Financial Reporting:
Review and manage job costing for multiple large projects, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses, revenues, and overall profitability. Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
Large-Scale Project Oversight:
Manage the financial aspects of multi-million-dollar to billion-dollar projects, ensuring all financial goals are met and projects stay within budget and on schedule.
Budget Management:
Develop, monitor, and update project budgets. Work closely with project managers to track progress, identify cost overruns, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Collaboration with Project Managers:
Partner with Project Managers to review project performance, resolve accounting and financial issues, and address any requests related to project accounting. Provide support to ensure timely completion of all financial deliverables.
Contract Negotiation & Management:
Negotiate and manage contracts related to project accounting, ensuring compliance with terms and financial guidelines. Collaborate with internal teams to review and modify contracts as needed.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess accounting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in project accounting. Implement best practices to enhance overall project financial management.
