Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Project Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting processes for a new project. This role is responsible for designing and preparing solutions for new business propositions according to GAAP. This position will work on project set up and prepare accounting project SOP's and business process designs. Responsibilities include: * Project Accounting Manager will support self-distribution project rollout for accounting group * Collaborating with multiple business users to define project requirements * Perform system testing from accounting perspective * Acts as a liaison for handling inventory adjustment exceptions * Quickly identify and solve problems that may arise during a project * Demonstrate ability to apply principles of accounting to analyze and prepare financial information * Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions * As a Project Accounting Manager, you will participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary * Preparing detailed training materials, documents for team for system changes related to project rollout
