Trane in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a TCAA Scheduling Project Administrator to join our team. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for routine project documentation, status monitoring, and administrative set up of each project. This position is required to closely interact with the sales manager and assigned project staff to ensure the timely processing of each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
· Assemble and allocate documentation for standard projects
· Process documents and order releases
· Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports
· Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff
· Ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering processes
· Obtain Trane ship dates for scheduling
· Enter timesheets and other standard paperwork
· Pull job credit number and assist with credit supplement processing
· Assist with warranty paperwork and parts requisitions as required
· Communicate effectively with other team members concerning problems, obstacles, issues, and information needs
· Assist with general office and shop work as needed including supporting other teams project administrators
· Assist with improvements to office and shop systems and processes
· Attend and participate in team meetings and technical training classes as scheduled
· Work as an effective member of a team of engineers and technicians
· Submit accurate, timely reports as required
· Perform work duties in compliance with all company safety policies
· Flexibility to occasionally work in other company departments when needed
· Flexibility to occasionally work overtime when workload necessitates

Education and Experience
· Two years of college or technical school; or four (4) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required, emphasis on Excel.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License, ability to travel between local facilities.
