About Us
The joint venture between SNC-Lavalin and Aecon is under contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Extended Services Master Services Agreement (ESMSA). The Agreement involves supporting maintenance projects across Darlington, Pickering and Western Waste, in addition to life extension and refurbishment projects at Darlington.
We are looking for a Project Administrator to join our Team!
What You'll Do Here:
Perform all administrative and clerical duties for the site team Assist the site manager and project managers in tracking analysis and forecasting of ongoing projects Assist in invoicing and gathering of all required documents required by the customer for payment Ensure contract extras are tracked and billed Assist with setting-up new subcontractors and send in all required documentation into Cambridge Pre-subcontractor qualifications (new) Assist with setting-up new vendors when required Maintain filing system for contract documents in accordance with auditing procedures and ensure Cambridge office has all documentation Assist in tracking, monitoring and analyzing productivity data where applicable Prepare time and material reports for customers Run job cost reports as required by the site manager and superintendents Provide feedback to Project managers on the ongoing cost controls of the projects Provide financial services support to the project team Support and/or assists in printing of cheques for payroll where applicable Forward appropriate forms to purchasing as required Maintain filing system Forward contracts and all other required documentation to Cambridge for invoicing Order office and sundries supplies as required on site Perform all administrative duties and support for site Provide reports to Managers as required Assist in processing packing slips, safety documentations, etc. Aid in Document control process Any other duties as required by the site manager, superintendent and the site Responsible to receive and record reference Engineering documents (Project Documents, Drawings, support drawings, specifications and line lists), revisions, cancellation notices, RFI responses Issues transmittal, drawing, electronic file, revision and hold notice confirmations Maintains and files drawings and related documents in the reference library (reference drawings, pipe supports, received/issued isometrics, issued spools, transmittals, issued reports, RFI’s, holds, cancellations, Engineering hand changes, priority lists, and commodity code catalogs)
What You Bring To The Team
3-5 years minimum Construction site experience Post-Secondary education in business Working knowledge on job cost accounting Proficient in MS Office applications in MS Windows environment Team player, flexible and able to work well with site team members Multi-tasking and work within time constraints Punctual and dependable Strong communication skills Understands and is committed to Nuclear Safety Understands Asset Suite (Preference) and SharePoint
