Our Environmental Department is looking for a Project Administrator for immediate hire. This role is open due to a backfill. The position involves various administrative and compliance tasks within the construction and utility sectors.
Responsibilities
+ Process credit card transactions and invoices
+ Maintain accurate record keeping
+ Make travel arrangements
+ Track training and other programs
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including EPA, ADEQ, Pinal County, and Maricopa County
+ Write and document reports within Microsoft Word
+ Organize data and records within Microsoft Excel
+ Work extensively with PDFs in Adobe
+ Obtain and ensure trade partner certificates of insurance meet contractual requirements
+ Assist the accounting team to meet monthly accounting deadlines by mitigating missing or incorrect information from trade partners
+ Review, identify, and approve compliance items throughout the construction process
+ Communicate unresolved issues to the team
+ Perform final review of documents for compliance
+ Participate in the Pre-lien process by providing project information
+ Track trade partner change orders and requests for change orders
Essential Skills
+ At least 3 years of experience in a project administrative role
+ Experience in the construction or utility industry is preferred but not required
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Project, and Adobe
+ Familiarity with regulatory agencies
+ Experience in processing invoices
+ Ability to create PowerPoint presentations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with LaserFish (records retention software) and Hyperion (budgeting software) is a plus but not required
+ Experience with Oracle business software
+ Strong multitasking abilities
+ Attention to detail
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
+ Strong problem-solving skills
Work Environment
The role will primarily support the environmental department in a compliance-focused position. Candidates should be local to Tucson or able to commute to project sites regularly. The position requires working five days a week, eight hours a day, in the office. The office provides many amenities and supports a collaborative work environment. The company invests in upskilling consultants and provides all necessary equipment for success. This is a stable, long-term role with opportunities for annual merit pay increases and two weeks of PTO to start.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
