POSTION - PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR - CONSTRUCTION
LOCATION - NEW HAVEN, CT
Arcadis is seeking a Project Administrator to join our construction project team with a high-profile client in the NEW HAVEN, CT area. This is a keystone role. You will be responsible for supporting the construction Project Management Team in delivering the scope of work in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience working with construction project documents.
Role accountabilities:
Use knowledge and experience to review project processes and policies, providing advice to support management in developing and improving processes and systems Interact effectively across the organization, completing complex 'professional'-level tasks for others to ensure projects/programs can be delivered to meet customer expectations Advise colleagues on issues relating to construction project providing subject matter advice to support delivery and ensure alignment between policy and operational practice Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules, and track budgets, highlighting variances to manage and control project delivery targets Track and monitor project schedules and budgets, and administer project and financial management accounting activities for small to medium-sized projects Present project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure project is not adversely impacted, and ensure delivery of projects to compliant standards Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations Work with internal departments on construction project tasks Develop or produce project related databases, written correspondence, reports, etc.Qualifications & Experience:
High School diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline preferred 3+ years of experience relative to this position working in a role with similar skill requirements or the management of small construction projects Skill and knowledge working with Project related documents like: project/vendor contracts, technical specifications, budgets/change orders, project schedules to mention a few Ability to exercise judgment, discretion and be a critical thinker to set priorities and manage competing demands in a deadline driven construction project environment Demonstrate a reliable, responsive method of working that includes a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong relationship building skills with the ability to have range of conversations with stakeholders within the Project Team or outside the organization Ability to gather information to manage and or produce project related reports, databases and or dashboardsPreferred Qualifications
High School diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline preferred Progressive employment history having worked in a similar capacity within a construction environment Strong relationship skills with the ability to have range of conversations with stakeholders inside and outside of the project team Excellent communication skills – written and oral Strong computer technical skills related to project software like: Excel and MS Office, e-Builder, Procore, Power BI (nice to have)Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $75,051 to $91,800 per year.
