The Project Analyst collects, reviews compliance and legal data, or manages project data. Supports project teams by providing analytical insights, developing reports and monitoring project performance working with various stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently and align with organizational goals and objectives.
What You Will Do:
Lead in providing employee information to outside vendors, collecting, reviewing, and managing project data, and providing status updates to management on various metrics. Provide headcount, training status, certification status and other metrics as required and assist in the training of team members on project management tool(s) and processes Data Collection and Analysis Gather data from various sources related to project performance, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Report Generation Develop and maintain reports as required (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) that summarize key metrics and findings Create dashboards, charts, and/or other visual representations that present data clearly and effectively in an easily interpretable format for stakeholders Project Monitoring and Tracking Track project milestones, deliverables budget expenditures and resource utilization to ensure alignment with project plans Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, key milestones, and budget Serve as the point of contact for project-related inquiries, facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation including project plans, contracts, invoices and deliverables Other projects or tasks as assignedWhat You Will Need:
Education and Experience
College degree (engineering, project management, data analytics, finance, accounting, or related discipline) preferred. 3‒5 years of experience gained in a classification society or commercial company and managing project data preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
SharePoint knowledge: the ability to work in the SharePoint environment (storing data, retrieving information etc.) Proficiency in Excel (including advanced functions) or equivalent Maintaining project data, and (Bureau and Group) points of contact list, Maintaining E&C policies and their applicability to the different business units within ABS, iAcheive training input for all of E&C multifaceted training, The ability to work with outside vendors on the implementation of ABS requirements, Managing the JPAS Security system for all cleared employees Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.Reporting Relationships:
The incumbent will report to a manager or director-level position. This position does not have direct reports.
