Project Analyst

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
**Location** : Buffalo, NY
**Duration** : 12 months
Position will report to the Cybersecurity Program Office Manager. Location is Hybrid on-site at least three days a week at Seneca One in downtown Buffalo. The team is typically in the office Tuesday through Thursday and remote, Monday and Friday. If the candidate is found to be the right fit, the role is eligible to convert to a FTE.
Candidates should be specifically skilled in report preparation for multiple audiences using Excel and PowerPoint. Gathering and aggregating information from several sources. Strong communication skills. Preferable qualifications include experience using Project Management applications, i.e. MS Project, Jira, etc. and any project management related certifications.
**Overview:**
On a project basis, plans and participates in gathering and analyzing information for defining project scope, business requirements, process definition, training, testing, and other activities and documentation to support project delivery. Performs routine to complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies. Defines and implements modifications to solve problems. Assists in day-to-day project support.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in the planning and implementation of new projects, products, programs, and initiatives to achieve short and long-term business objectives and strategic outcomes.
+ Assist in developing project roadmaps and plans.
+ Assist in addressing problems/solutions, risks, and issues of any scope and size, analyzing information to determine feasible solutions and articulating recommendations to the project team.
+ Maintain an understanding of the areas affected by the project, including its functions, processes, and operations.
+ Undertake small and medium-size efforts, coordinating activities and tasks across teams and departmental boundaries.
+ Plan and support the development of communication plans, test plans, change management plans, and training plans to aid in the implementation and adoption of project deliverables.
+ Adhere to all current standards and procedures, ensuring all efforts are properly and accurately documented.
+ Suggest enhancements to procedures and standards where necessary.
+ Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
+ Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company brand.
+ Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, along with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
+ Complete other related duties as assigned.
**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**
+ Mentors junior team members.
**Education and Experience Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience,
+ OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of proven relevant work experience or equivalent training.
+ Minimum of one year of proven project management experience (project role may vary).
**Education and Experience Preferred:**
+ Experience with process improvement initiatives and project lifecycle management.
+ Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
