Position Purpose:
The Project Analyst works to assist in the preparation of economic and financial analysis. Individuals will work on a combination of ad hoc analysis/data pulling, project work, and documentation of existing process/procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
30% Performs economic and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance, and other financial metrics.
30% Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and ad-hoc analysis
20% Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data.
20% Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Position reports to Manager of Finance
No direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent undergraduate with major in Finance or Economics with related internship preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
MS Office experience desired

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
