Type: Contract Job Title: Project Analyst IV Location: Painted Post, NY Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Painted Post, NY Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Education: Bachelor’s Degree required Position Overview As a Senior Project Analyst within Shared Services, you will engage in a variety of projects, including cost reductions, process improvements, PeopleSoft or SAP deployments, Shared Service integrations, finance system upgrades, business process design, and the introduction of new technologies. Depending on business needs, you may work on multiple smaller projects or take the lead on larger ones aligned with your career growth. Key Responsibilities Primary Duties: Serve as the functional Project Analyst for key finance initiatives, particularly the implementation of OneStream as the Corporate Closing/Consolidations and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) application. Support the transformation of global FP&A processes, analyzing the current state and implementing optimized solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. General Responsibilities: Develop content for change management plans, reports, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and address process gaps. Assess and design improved business processes. Define and document configuration requirements, business rules, and data models. Develop and execute test requirements and scripts. Create and execute end-user training programs. Support enterprise applications and system testing for smooth implementation. Provide process improvement recommendations to senior management. Lead small-scale projects related to business integrations, process improvements, new initiatives, and cost reductions. Resolve complex system and process issues. Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to management. Document and maintain process documentation. Travel Requirements Up to 25% domestic travel may be required, depending on project needs. On-Site Work Requirements Preferred candidates will be onsite Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST. Hybrid work options are available (e.g., three days onsite per week or two weeks onsite per month). Work Schedule Standard hours are 8 AM - 5 PM EST, with occasional extended hours or weekend work required based on project phases. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. At least 3 years of experience working on finance or shared service projects. General accounting experience, particularly within Shared Services (Close/Record to Report). Required Skills: Functional Finance (FICO) system knowledge of SAP S4 HANA. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with OneStream implementations. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or SAP S4. Certified Green Belt. Experience with Shared Service process deployment or integration projects. Familiarity with company standards, processes, and tools. Experience in project metric setting and reporting. Soft Skills: Ambitious and demonstrates initiative. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Adaptable to changing environments and able to serve as a change agent. Customer-focused with a commitment to exceptional project delivery.
