About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project & Program Coordinator to join our People & Operations team at Hinge. This high-growth, high-visibility role supports the Chief of Staff to the COO and offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and opportunities to lead and influence strategic initiatives. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing projects, and love creating memorable experiences, this role is your chance to make a direct impact on our team and organization.ResponsibilitiesProject & Program Management: Own and manage the Notion board to track projects, timelines, milestones, and progress.Collaboration & Risk Management: Collaborate with project managers to capture notes, flag risks, and ensure alignment.Team Rituals: Lead or assist in team rituals, including status meetings, planning sessions, and retrospectives.Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate blockers to the Chief of Staff as needed.Event Planning & Execution: Co-produce Winter and Summer Summits and leadership offsites.Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.Team Experiences: Curate and coordinate impactful team experiences, managing logistics and engagement.Event Logistics: Manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and vendors.Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal and external partners to support cross-functional initiatives.Leadership Support: Provide clear, high-quality notes and documentation for leadership meetings and offsites.Project Execution: Facilitate seamless execution of projects and events through effective communication.Budget Planning: Aid in budget planning and organization.
What We're Looking ForPMP certification and 2–4 years of relevant experience in project management, program management, or event planning.Hands-on startup operations experience, with a track record of thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and flags potential issues early.Experience with tools like Notion, Asana, or Trello is a plus.Competence in reading and negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and working with vendors.Passion for creating efficient systems and delivering exceptional experiences.
$105,000 - $115,000 a yearFactors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence the base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state) if authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.As a member of our team, you’ll enjoy:
