Project Architect

Job Description:

Will be reporting to PM and Principal on projects Will be leading project team to perform layout and detailing on architectural projectsCoordinate and mentor work of project team through all projects phases to ensure completion of documents to meet deadlines and expectations Establish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions at project site with Project Manager and other disciplinesCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with RFIs, CPRs and change ordersPerform QA/QC, develop architectural specifications, and review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines May go on site visits when neededProvide construction contract administration as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or closely related field10+ years of professional experience Previous project experience within the civic/justice sector is highly preferred Must have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsAbility to complete full set of construction documents with no supervision Previous experience leading projects on the technical side Experience/understanding of project sharing and leading team members in different office locationsLicensure is highly preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of building codesProficiency in Revit (BIM) is requiredAbout Actalent
