Woolpert is currently seeking an experienced project architect to actively lead our Indianapolis architecture team while working with key project partners including clients, engineering, and municipalities.
Responsibilities Drive projects while working with internal architects, engineers, and support staff from design conception through construction administration while utilizing company support leverage teams capabilities. Provide project planning, design, and construction administration services, including direct client contact, consultants, and contractors for project types such as Mixed-Use/Multifamily, Hospitality, and Commercial/Retail.Build, guide, and manage a studio of other architects, engineers, and production staff.Opportunity for a licensed architect to lead renovation and new construction building designs for a variety of project types including multifamily, hospitality, and public projects.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Licensed architect with NCARB certification. Bachelor’s degree in architecture and 4-8 years of work experience. Mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position. Experience with Building Industry Consulting Service International, American National Standards Institute/Telecommunications Industry Association, International Building Code, Unified Facilities Criteria, and National Fire Protection Association codes and standards. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Excellent communication and technical skills and strong team player. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
