Project Architect
Job Title: Architect

Job Description

1. Lead production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD, and CA phases. 2. Review documents for quality control evaluations, and ensure ongoing compliance with Project Document Procedures. 3. Supervise project staff and direct their work. 4. Adhere to the project schedule developed by the Project Manager and advise on anything that would prohibit meeting deadlines. Organize meetings with clients, produce minutes and action items in order to maintain the project schedule. 5. Review and coordinate the design documents of consultants, provide feedback and ensure systems are appropriate for the intended use and construction budget. 6. Meet with suppliers and vendors for product research relative to projects. 7. Manage CA phase work, attend project meetings and produce Field Observation Reports to document the progress of the construction. 8. Seek out new design and construction methods that ensure Best Practices. Ensure that the project network structure adheres to firm standards. 9. Document all major decisions that are inconsistent with recommendations or changes in scope. 10. Assist the Project Manager with PM responsibilities as requested.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in BALTIMORE, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

5 Studios - 75 employees in Baltimore. Housing - MF & Sr Living (work from Chicago to Connecticut, DMV and everywhere in between). Interiors (5 designers). Graphics & Signage. Commercial - retail, shell, interiors, restaurants. International - mainly master planning and conceptual schematics. Class A office space in the 100 N Charles Tower - 18th floor, panoramic view of the city.r

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00
