Project Architect
Job Title: Project ArchitectJob Description We are seeking a Project Architect to communicate effectively with Project Managers, junior architects, engineers, and designers to develop drawings and designs. The successful candidate will produce full construction document sets on various projects from Conceptual Design to Construction Administration while applying architectural concepts and designs. The role involves leading a team of two to three designers, conducting code research and analysis, and potentially assisting with interior development for certain clients. Coordination with Project Managers on scheduling, forecasting deadlines, and projects is also required. Responsibilities + Communicate with Project Managers, junior architects, engineers, and designers to develop drawings and designs. + Produce full construction document sets on various projects from Conceptual Design to Construction Administration. + Lead a team of two to three designers. + Conduct code research and analysis. + Assist with interior development for certain clients. + Coordinate with Project Managers on scheduling, forecasting deadlines, and projects. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. + 5 to 7 years of experience working at an architecture firm. + Ability to produce full construction documents with little to no guidance. + Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working on multisite commercial projects. + Licensed Architect preferred. + Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD. + Experience with schematic design, architectural design, site survey, and zoning. Work Environment The company provides a close-knit family environment and prides itself on the culture they have built. The candidate will have their own desk and computer in an open and collaborative office space. The architectural team is divided into production and Project Management groups, with the candidate being placed in the production group. There are four teams specializing in different projects and clients, and the candidate will be exposed to various project types. The company offers licensure reimbursement for any licensure test passed. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days working from home and flexible start and finish hours. Typical hours are 8am-5pm. Projects are primarily multi-site commercial with a typical turnaround time of 2 weeks. The candidate will work on 5-6 projects at a time, including retail stores, restaurants, fuel stations/travel centers, dispensaries, tenant improvements, and veterinarian hospitals. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
