Job Description

We are seeking a passionate architect to join our rapidly growing architecture team in Richmond. Our office is focused on expanding its local and national presence in the healthcare and higher education sectors. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other architects, engineers, and clients in a fast-paced environment, running projects from start to finish while mentoring junior staff on larger projects. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver projectsRun projects from start to finishMentor junior staff on larger projectsAttend client meetings (15%-35% of time)Engage in project production (50%-70% of time)Handle construction administration tasks (15% of time)Essential SkillsProficiency in RevitExperience in commercial design, particularly in healthcare, higher education, and multifamily projectsStrong communication skillsExperience in architectural design and construction administrationProficiency in creating construction documents and design developmentExperience with AutoCADAdditional Skills & QualificationsB. Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited program7-10+ years of architectural experience, with a preference for healthcare-specific experienceCurrent or imminent registration or enrollment in NCARB IDPLEED, WELL, or other specialized credentials are a plusWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr.
