Project Architect Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to prepare Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. The ideal candidate must be adaptable to the details of different project types, including programming, code/zoning, entitlement issues, construction documentation, bidding, permitting, and the construction administration process. Responsibilities + Prepare Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. + Adapt to the details of various project types, including programming, code/zoning, entitlement issues, construction documentation, bidding, permitting, and construction administration. + Utilize Revit for construction documents. + Engage in project management, design development, and schematic design. + Draft and schedule architectural designs. + Collaborate with team members and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Essential Skills + Professional experience utilizing Revit for construction documents. + Proficiency in construction documentation and administration. + Experience in project management, design development, and schematic design. + Fluency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. + 5-10 years of professional experience working in architecture. + NAAB accredited degree in architecture. + Actively pursuing licensure or be a licensed architect. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Diverse portfolio that highlights multi-family projects. + Experience with drafting, scheduling, and architectural design. + Proficiency in Lumion. Work Environment Our office is located in the West Loop, featuring an open-concept space with plenty of natural light. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office. The team enjoys a lively, fast-paced culture and maintains a work-hard, play-hard mentality. Our office environment is ego-free, encouraging ideas and collaboration. We value a great work/life balance, hosting numerous outings and community involvement activities. Expected working hours are from 8-9 AM to 5-6 PM each day, with flexibility around start and end times, provided communication with the team is maintained. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
