Airswift is seeking architect applicants to fill a contract mid-level Project Architect  position. This position will be contracted to one of our clients in the Houston Galleria area.
  A project architect is a licensed professional who manages the design and construction of a building project. They work with clients, architects, and other professionals to ensure the project meets standards and is built on time and within budget. 
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience. Ideally seeking 8-10 years of experience  Ability to successfully handle projects from start to finish Ability to successfully coordinate with subcontractors and handle projects from start to finish without much support. Communication with engineers,  knowledge of and ability to sketch out their own details.  Experience must be in commercial / industrial construction. Experience is to be with concrete and metal structures. Experience with tilt wall and pre-engineered buildings (PEB)  Responsibilities:  Design - create plans and specifications of the project Construction - oversee the construction process and ensure designs are built as planned Client management - work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design concepts  Budgeting - draft budgets and procurement documents Regulations - ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements Schedule: 5 days a week in office, 40 hours per week  Work from home every other Friday
