This position will be a key role in actively leading our Architecture team while working with key project partners, including clients, engineering, and municipalities. This position would be aligned with our office located in Virginia Beach and would support full-time in-person/hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities Opportunity for a licensed architect to lead a team of architects in working renovation and new construction building designs for a variety of project types including multifamily, K-12, higher education, municipal, and private market projects.Candidate will drive the project, along with the project manager, while working with internal architects, engineers, and support staff from design conception through construction administration while utilizing company support leverage teams capabilities.Candidate will provide project planning, design, and construction administration services, including direct client contact, consultants, and contractors. Project types include mixed-use/multi-family, hospitality and/or Commercial/Retail. Project locations would be multiple states across the U.S.Candidates will be a key member of our team and contribute in building, guiding, and managing a team of other architects, engineers and production staff.Candidate will have the opportunity to work either in an office environment or a hybrid home/office environment.\Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Architect with NCARB certification.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and minimum of 10+ years of work experience, with demonstrated experience in a leader role.Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.Experience with Building Industry Standards/Codes and with construction types of the above mentioned project types.Excellent communication and technical skills and be a strong team player.Must be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.Must have working knowledge in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and proficient in Bluebeam.Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)Unique Benefits
