Project Assistant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in the industry located in Oakland, California, 94621, United States. As an HR Coordinator, you will be tasked with reviewing and updating our operations manual, coordinating with different teams, and utilizing AI tools for efficient operations. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough reviews of our operations manual to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. • Coordinate with respective teams for updating policies and procedures as necessary. • Utilize Google Suite for various administrative tasks and operations. • Leverage your experience with AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT to streamline processes. • Engage in regular auditing activities to ensure compliance with established procedures. • Manage background checks for potential hires as part of our recruitment process. • Efficiently handle benefit functions to ensure employee satisfaction and retention. • Showcase excellent communication skills in liaising between different teams and departments. • Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time for managing various HR tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now platforms • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode • Experience in using Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time software • Strong auditing skills • Ability to conduct background checks in accordance with applicable laws and regulations • Capable of executing benefit functions effectively • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred • Prior experience in a similar HR role is advantageous.
