Overview TRC is seeking a qualified individual to support commercial and residential energy efficiency new construction programs in New Jersey. This position is based out of the TRC New Brunswick, NJ office. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or other Program Management software to progress energy efficiency applications through required milestones and interact across functional areas to ensure timely responses to customers and program partners. Candidates must possess strong technical writing skills and technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, demand management, and decarbonization. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines and client expectations. Reviewing calculations and assumptions used to estimate or measure savings due to energy efficiency projects. Keeping managers aware of project schedules and progress and providing regular time charging/budget updates as requested. Conducting meetings and provide answers to technical and program related questions. Staying informed about energy issues and industry trends through regular technical reading and participation in local and national professional organizations. Qualifications Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Sustainability, or similar studies. Current or previous HERS Rater, Modeler, or RFI certification strongly preferred. 3-5 years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or related sectors. Knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency technologies, green building, and high-performance design. Aptitude for communicating (written and oral) technical and program concepts to clients, contractors, consumers, and other interested people or organizations. Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused. Experience with LEED BD+C, ID+C, ENERGY STAR, DOE ZERH, PHI, or Phius is a plus. Experience with Ekotrope, eQuest, TRACE, Energy Plus or other building modeling software is a plus. CEM or CEA accreditation is a plus. EIT and PE accreditation is a plus. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
