We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Associate.
The Division of Medical Ethics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a part time Project Associate We would like the candidate to start as soon as possible and devote 10 hours a week The Project Associate will provide administrative and research assistance to the division including for our projects the Give One Talk GoT Vaccine Information Project and the High School Bioethics Project Candidate should be highly organized have some background in bioethics and be detail oriented and comfortable working with others Some work from home is permissible.

Manage schedules for GoT and HSBP Maintain organized and updated files and contact databases for GoT and HSBP Help recruit students for educational programs Help manage the HSBP internship process and participate in selection Help identify and then liaison with web developers who will upgrade GoT and HSBP program websites Communicate with project partners community groups and key stakeholders Track deadlines keeping projects accountable to grant timelines Contribute to project meetings adding ideas that reflect an understanding of project goals Help draft and distribute regular project reports through LISTSERV Other tasks as assigned nbsp; Assist division director/faculty as assigned and available with time sensitive research assistance and special projectsCandidate must be able and willing to work in tandem with the GoT and HSBP Associate Directors to ensure success This may mean temporarily assuming responsibilities not described here for example research support or additional organization or administration tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate s Degree is required Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience Effective Oral written communication and interpersonal skills Computer Skills Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Word Excel Power point and Access Ability to develop basic formulae for spreadsheets; set up routine computer procedures; Ability to access e mail electronic calendars and other basic office support software Ability to proofread documents and write clear concise 1st draft Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minutes Knowledge of standard office practices Ability to multi task while paying attention to details Ability to use standard office equipment such as copy machines multi line telephones fax machines
Preferred Qualifications:
Academic training in public health communications or policy Minimum of completed BA degree Prefer a candidate with a background or strong interest in bioethics Preference given to NYU affiliated candidates

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $25.05-$32.14 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
