Project Billing Coordinator (In-Office Role)

 Convergint is looking for a full-time, results driven and forward-thinking Project Billing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for entering invoices in customer portals, following-up on billing requests via email or phone, tracking retention billing using excel and assisting with other billing tasks as needed. Responsibilities also include assisting with accounting/bookkeeping duties. May provide direction and coaching to other colleagues. As a Project Billing Coordinator, you are part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills Basic financial knowledge and skills—ability to understand basic financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc. Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously Excellent attention to detail Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment Shows initiative – regularly engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members

Requirements:

 Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

1 year bookkeeping, accounting, and/or financial Construction Portal Billing Experience
