The Collections Coordinator will support the efforts of the Collections team in organizing, inventorying, cataloging, and preserving the Walt Disney Archives dimensional collection. 

Responsibilities include:

Inventory, organize, and process assets.Rehouse and label physical assets.Recordkeeping, including updating and creating database records on spreadsheets and in a collections management system.Aid in preparing assets for exhibitions, including completing condition reports and object preparation.Assist in installing and deinstalling internal and external displays and exhibitions.Other tasks and projects to be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections database management software.Experience with object handling.Ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and reach as the job requires.Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or background working in a collections or archives for 1+ years. 

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
