Project Control Analyst - Skills   

3 years+ experience in MS Project Server 2007(or later), PWA, Project Timesheets and Project Administration  

Good knowledge of MS Excel 2007 or later          

Working knowledge on Business Intelligence tools like  Business Objects             

Working knowledge on databases like SQL Server and/or Oracle              

Excellent communication and analytical skills      

               

               

               

 

Description:

Project Control Analyst Responsibilities

Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in making IT Project Management and Reporting processes and procedures more timely, collaborative, transparent, and proactive.        

Provide the necessary support to continue to improve internal operations of the PMO by means of several technologies including but not limited to database and business intelligence tools.     

Support project plan development and execution.         

Input, monitor, and maintain weekly timesheets using Microsoft PWA.

Support IT planning by assisting in the creation of new project plans.     

Maintain and update project plan standards.     

Troubleshoot project plan and reporting anomalies in Excel and Microsoft Project.          

Assist in the planning, testing and implementation of project related software upgrades including updating policy and procedure changes related to future software upgrades.            

Provide analytical and administrative support to the PMO for monthly reporting processes including but not limited to:

o       End of Month Project Status Report to the CIO and IT Financial Manager    

o       End of Month Project Status Report to GVPs and ADs.         

Systems Development/Maintenance Responsibilities:  

o        Creation and maintenance of Reporting Database tables content and relationship structures.         

o        Development and maintenance of automated Project Management and Financial reports by means of SQL and business intelligence software tools (Business Objects/Web Intelligence).
