Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support in all financial and commercial matters related to the project. Each day, you will actively drive their respective project’s performance. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting) documents.The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Distribution Solution Division in Taiwan. Main stakeholders are Sales team and Engineering team.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDriving revenues and project cash flow in your assigned project and seeking for optimization.•\tOverseeing currency risk in project cash flow and implementing/suggesting appropriate mitigation measures.•\tSupporting in coordinating and preparing project reviews, cost reports, claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases.•\tAssisting the project team in identifying risks and opportunities, and in ensuring adherence to ABB’s corporate governance, assurance, internal controls, and business specific finance directives and instructions.

Qualifications for the role

\tKnowledge – Project accounting knowledge; · SAP SD & PS module expertise;\tKnowledge on project cost calculation as well as tools to analyze costs; Knowledge oncompliance/integrity rules and ability to enforce them; •\tRisk management knowledge(e.g., execution risk, credit risk, market risk); •\t•\t•\tKnowledge on managing tax positionsand local laws (e.g., related to labor)\tSkills – Proficient with MS Excel, Word, SAP\tBehaviour - Business partner; Analyze project problems in detail, ask probing questions and challenge decisions; Influence decision makers, and interact effectively with different management levels; \tMotivate others in the project team, engagepeople with different backgrounds; Adhere to the ABB code of ethics, lead by example; Work independently and be able to handle multiple assignments in a fastpaced environment; Think outside the box, be proactive and spot project risks as well as opportunities\tExperience – 3 years in project controller
