What this job involves - We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) located in Mountain View, California.  This is a key strategic role for JLL with the potential to impact our organization in the Project Management Office (PMO), with the development and analysis of project budgets, costs, schedules and delivery status.  The Project Controls Analyst will participate in the planning, tracking, forecasting, analysis and reporting on financial information for projects and programs of varying size and complexity.  The Project Controls Analyst will provide key support to project and program management efforts monitoring project progress, coordinating and tracking cost and schedule data and identifying key project delivery risks and issues.  The Project Controls Analyst will support the development of portfolio and project reporting and dashboards to the Leadership teams.

Provide superior client serviceContribute to the growth of the company and meet assigned financial targetsEnhance your own professional and personal skillsProvide technical expertise for: Project Controls, Cash Flow Analysis, Bench-marking, Forecasting, Process Improvement / Analysis, Equipment Lead Time, Project Schedules, PM support / Proposal / Budget development, Risk Analysis, Data Entry, Data Quality Assurance, Data Quality Controls

Project Controls:

Oversight of project controls activities including cost, estimating, scheduling, and earned value management on multiple capital projects including but not limited to Infrastructure, Energy & Suitability, Building Refresh and Labs.Partner, coordinate, lead, supervise and monitor the project controls activities with the Project Delivery, Compliance and Leadership Teams.Support the project intake of new project and program requests in the system of record for the larger Built Environment Team (Project Management and Space Planning).  Manage the interface for project controls activities to all required departments involved in the project including the architect/engineers, construction contractors and owner (e.g., finance, procurement)Manage the execution of the project controls planPerform monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting including invoice validation, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow reports schedule, schedule, and variance analysis.Support in developing and maintaining customers historical cost benchmark for various project types.Develop, maintain, and track master schedule from multiple schedules in Primavera or MS Project.Review and analyze the project schedule for accuracy and feasibility.Ensure accuracy for project financials including financial forecast with alignment to project schedules.Perform earned value analysis and performance-based forecasting.Lead risk workshops, manage logs and mitigation plans

Minimum Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Construction Management; or equivalent education in a technical discipline.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Preferred 1-3 years of relevant and progressive work experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling and/or business intelligence tools.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.Experience working on numerous projects and initiatives simultaneously.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with multiple stakeholdersAbility to regularly communicate data to client and team to achieve project goalsDemonstrated ability to support business development initiatives as assigned or requestedStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with the customer’s executives, JLL executives.Advanced skill level in Google Sheets and other Google managed applications.Basic knowledge of Project Scheduling (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)Basic knowledge and experience in various aspects of project controls, planning/scheduling, progress measurement and forecasting/reporting

Estimated total compensation for this position:

84,000.00 – 110,460.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
