Job Description

Actalent is seeking a skilled Project Controls Analyst to join a local Tampa utility supporting the Energy Delivery Project Management team, working on projects related to Distribution, Transmission, and Substation. The selected candidate will work closely with external engineering, architectural and construction firms to assist in analyzing project control requirements during bid reviews, recommend and implement improvements in systems and methods, and develop and manage integrated detailed project schedules. This role includes maintaining project schedules and ensuring their integrity.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in analyzing project control requirements during bid review processes to ensure all cost control requirements are incorporated into contracts and purchase orders.Recommend and implement improvements in systems, tools, and methods of project controls and project management.Develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules for multiple projects, including all phases of project execution.Maintain project schedules and update as required to ensure schedule integrity.Communicate and coordinate with various departments.Order construction materials and coordinate project activities.Plan and track materials, budget, and construction procurement.Manage project data entry and reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.For Project Controls Analyst I: 2-3 years of experience.For Project Controls Analyst II: 7-8 years of experience.Knowledge of budget, cash flow, and schedule development preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00
