Description
The person in this role will be responsible for supporting the creation of affair cost baselines and the management of affair cost reforecasting through the end of projects. They will assist our central engineering team with the creation of Cost Breakdown Structures, the loading of engineering scope into our internal cost management tool called HIVE, the integration of change requests and the reporting of results
•\tSupport the planning, estimating and budgeting:
o\tParticipate with engineering teams to develop the CBS according to the project WBS and to engineering standards for capital cost account structures
o\tAssist the engineering team in creating and consolidating the budget estimates according to the CBS, providing support to account for purchasing tactics, risk analyses, currency impact, etc.
o\tDevelop the consolidated project cost baseline, including the monthly cash-flow forecast for the project life-cycle
o\tLoad the baseline into the Michelin cost management tool, HIVE
•\tPerform the cost monitoring and control to supply monthly landing and cash-flow reforecasts:
o\tFollow the purchase-to-pay cycle of purchase orders to anticipate evolutions and corrective actions for cost and cash-flow.
o\tWork with engineering and purchasing to manage purchase order life-cycle (timely invoicing, changes, closing, etc.) with the goal of respecting monthly cash-flow.
o\tIncorporate approved change orders and manage associated budget transfers in HIVE. Report on unapproved changes.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
