HDR is looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our Water Business Group team in Atlanta, GA. In the role of Project Controls Manager, we'll count on you to:Partner with designers, contractors, inspectors and other third-party entities to proactively identify, communicate and resolve scope and pricing variancesEstablish a procedural framework for preparing, reporting and reconciling variances, including developing and/or enhancing reporting procedures and toolsManage and enforce adherence to project controls practices and procedures, including change management and records managementDevelop and monitor key performance indicators and report to project and program staff and clientProactively seek collaboration and cooperationSet up and lead coordination meetingsReview project change documentation and ensure compliance with change procedures and contract specificationsEstablish project schedules, forecast and cost controls proceduresPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsDegree in Construction, Engineering or related fieldCertifications (one or more): CPE, CEP, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, PMP, CCM, PRMP, DRMP, CFCC, PE, MCSA: BI ReportingAbility to interpret construction schedulesLocal candidates are preferredLI-SM1Required QualificationsBachelor's degreeA minimum of 10 years' experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reportsAbility to manage proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation, client relationship and win strategy for medium to large EPC ProjectsStrong decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneouslyStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
