Project Controls Manager
**This Opportunity** WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Project Controls Manager** for our **project office in Riverdale, MD** . Be involved in projects with our **Project Controls & Technology Team** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. **Your Impact** Job Duties: + Work under the direction of the Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of project controls reporting. + Engage specifically in planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and Internal technical and support staff. + Manage teams responsible for scheduling, risk management, document control, compliance, and cost control. + Identify, develop, and maintain project control systems for data management across multiple disciplines and departments. + Manage project internal and external reporting processes. + Review and approve payment applications with input from various departments. + Analyze potential schedule and cost impacts of changes in the project. + Support the Risk Management Committee with risk assessments. + Assist the MDOT MBE Compliance team with resolving compliance issues. + Perform detailed reviews of schedule delays and claims. + Review non-conformance reports and oversee corrective actions. + Help implement quality assurance and ensure the project meets contract requirements. + Handle additional tasks as assigned by leadership. **Who You Are** Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is required. + 12 years of combined field and office cost control experience involving large-scale transit projects + Must have the ability to work onsite 5 days per week. + Experience with multiple stakeholder/funding sources is required. + Proficiency in cost control/cost management methods and applications including earned value analysis and cost forecasting. + Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. + Familiarity with project management software and document control systems. + Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Commitment to project success and quality. + Ability to interface with clients and participate in business development initiatives. + Expert ability with Microsoft Office Suite primarily Excel. Preferred Requirements: + Candidates with advanced degrees or professional certifications and accreditations in Engineering, Construction Management and related fields are preferred. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $168,000 - $281,390 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
