Project Controls Manager
Job Description As a Project Controls Manager, the candidate will be involved in a number of projects and project teams at the same time, at various stages of the projects lifecycle, from inception through close-out, varying in complexity and value. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:  Prepare monthly financial reports  Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures; maintains tracking database to ensure that funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures  Review and advise on uncommitted balances  Review and advise on contingency balances  Review vendor invoices / applications for payment  Lead the change control process  Project financial close-out  Evaluate productivity versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis  Compares actual cost to funding limitations; prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding  Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending / forecasting  Participates in and may lead project cost review meetings  Assists in procedure development and implementation  Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity, and participate in regular progress schedule meetings with construction team We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Minimum Requirements  Bachelor's degree with six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education  8-10 years relevant experience Impeccable verbal, written and numeracy skills in a client facing capacity  Ability to work under own initiative and unsupervised, but also as part of a team  Experience of working in process manufacturing and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries; on-site experience is preferred but not required  Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Teams  Knowledge of construction scheduling using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project  Familiarity with business intelligence / reporting / dashboarding tools such as Power BI / Tableau null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
