**Position Overview**
**Power Your Future with Qualus** in our Project Controls department as a Project Controls Manager. The PCM will be required to provide support for schedule maintenance, schedule analysis, risk management, risk analysis, earned value management / commodity tracking, development & maintenance of routine reports for Project Team and Executive review. Will support Project Management and Project Controls teams by reviewing and providing guidance on documentation deliverables necessary to obtain project funding approval at the next Stage Gate.
**Responsibilities**
+ Development and maintenance of owners’ schedules and Integrated Master schedules including all contractors and stakeholders.
+ Apply fundamental schedule control techniques and liaison its relationship to cost.
+ Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
+ Verify progress and reviews performance trends.
+ Investigate causes of variances between planned and earned/actual progress and document discoveries.
+ Identify, analyze and document project schedule variances and conclude on possible impacts.
+ Support on the development of plans and schedules for front end work.
+ Lead/Assist in the development and maintenance of Issue and Risk register.
+ Lead/Assist in the development of Cost and Schedule QRAs.
+ Actively participate in the development of project Work Breakdown Structure.
+ Provide analysis of cost variances between budget, actual costs, and support development of cost forecasts.
+ Utilizes project management and project controls expertise as well as business acumen and experience to provide SME-level project management, controls, and business case guidance to project team members.
+ Performs analysis, optimization, and reporting on the assigned project(s) including assessments of risk, cost, schedule associated with completing planned scopes of work according to multi-year budget plans.
+ May assist as a Stage Gate Process Gate Reviewer by performing rigorous evaluations of project development and control deliverables, including business cases presented by project teams.
+ Coordinate with project stakeholders to create an agreeable execution plan for planned and unplanned work.
+ Assist in closeout of completed projects.
Below is list of analyzing activities / deliverables the PCM may be involved in throughout the life of a project.
+ Ensuring the integrity of accounting information and providing analytical services for transmission and substation projects.
+ Monitoring, maintaining and completing key reports and providing analytical functions towards capital projects utilizing data, and other critical deliverables
+ Collecting, evaluating, and reporting Capital budget, project cost, work order closings and variance reporting
+ Initiate, monitor, maintain and close out of capital work orders in all legal entities
+ Create and analyze capital budgets, financial forecasts, reporting of actual financial results and variance explanations.
**Qualifications**
+ Large Capital Project ($500M+) experience is highly preferred
+ Primavera P6 Certification
+ Understanding of Project Management processes
+ Knowledge of the Stage Gate process
+ Experience with Schedule Analysis software (i.e. Acumen Fuse)
+ Experience utilizing Risk Management software supporting Monte Carlo Analysis (i.e. Oracle Crystal Ball)
