Project Controls Specialist (All Levels)
**JOB SUMMARY** Supports business objectives on capital projects through the implementation and enforcement of project forecasting and project controls. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Assembles and maintains project scheduling databases in Primavera P6. + Conducts monthly status and progress updates with various areas (Permitting, Design, Supply Chain and Construction) to maintain accuracy of project schedules. + Supports Capital Projects group with schedule and financial information on a project-by-project basis. + Generates reports utilized by various groups in conjunction with long term forecasting, planning and scheduling. + Generates internal and external reports on various facets of capital transmission projects. + Maintains primary responsibility for cash flow and in-service date forecasting of all capital projects within a particular business unit. + Works with various groups within the company to facilitate the efficient implementation of projects as part of the Capital Project Management process from schedule and cash flow perspectives. + Assists with implementation of software integration process improvements for project controls. + Attends meetings and training sessions to increase professional knowledge and skills. **REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor's degree in Business related field or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education. + Minimum Work Experience Required + Associate: No work experience required (entry level) + Intermediate: Minimum of two (2) years of related experience + Senior: Minimum of five (5) years of related experience. + Intermediate knowledge of transmission project scheduling. + Intermediate knowledge of construction project cash flow forecasting. + Possess sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills. + Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company. + Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access). + Ability to work under minimal supervision, in a team environment. + Intermediate knowledge of Primavera P6 and Unifier preferred. + Experience with capital transmission project cash flow forecasting preferred. + Electrical and Civil Engineering experience/knowledge preferred. + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. + Experience with Microsoft PowerBI preferred. + Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines. + Ability to learn and utilize job specific software. + Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
