In the role of Project Controls Technology Specialist, we'll count on you to:Support our clients' proactive efforts related to program and project controls, including but not limited to reporting, scheduling, cost, and risk management, using tools that provide visibilityDevelop and monitor project metrics, develop dashboards and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring and status communication to project/program management teamsWork with multiple Project Managers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsActively participate and spearhead project controls related topics at project coordination meetingsUtilize project schedules in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software and leverage their data in dashboard reportingPerform other duties as neededCost control duties could include monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, reporting on cost expenditures, trends, processing payment applications/invoicesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years project controls experience in the engineering and construction industry, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reportingLeadership skillsUnderstanding of schedulingUnderstanding of Power Query and Power AutomateUnderstanding of industry best practicesDesire to learn new software and processesExperience with cost management and cost controlCertifications: MCSA: BI Reporting

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project construction management, engineering, or technology fieldIntroductory experience and aptitude in business data management, processes, analysisMotivated self-starter and ability to think creativelyIntroductory skill set to include working with Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Excel, power Automate, Forms, Teams or Power BI Experience with converting business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasksStrong decision-making skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneouslyStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
