We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Fairfield, CA. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You will lead a team of construction professionals to produce high-quality work, in a safety-minded environment.

Daily field visits to ensure projects are following safety, quality control and productivity standardsDrive projects through systems for final development and budgetingAssists with defining labor and material needs, permitting requirements/needs, infrastructure nodes and plant connection points, locate services and city/county/state requirements and restrictionsDefine projects from job definitions, network integration needs and connection pointsManage overall path planning review, including site pictures, node integration and area resources including buildings, ground, and aerial assetsSupport Quality Control functions; onsite quality control checks, job hazard analysis, safety audits etc.Participate in the development of “Project Packets”Project development for new proposed projectsManage multiple stages of projects, keeping systems and records updatedNetwork and asset knowledge and planning to include aerial and underground assets and network inventory knowledgeProvide excellent customer experience every dayOther duties as assigned Requirements 3-5 years of experience managing telecommunications construction projects required (i.e. having worked for a cable, internet or phone company that built copper and/or fiber optic networks - IT, sales, and call center employees not considered - must be construction)Prior knowledge or experience with aerial and underground construction and network operations Knowledge of telecom construction industry coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, map reading, etc.Enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting problems as they arise in the fieldPrior experience managing subcontractor partners is a plusPrevious site management experience while maintaining a good relationship with client and suppliersOpen to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as neededAbility to travel to job sites +/- 25% of the timeAbility to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build processExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with Work, Excel and Project and the ability to learn custom softwareAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customersAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbs as neededAbility to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standingAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains and job sitesValid driver’s license required, free from suspensions or revocationsClass A CDL requiredPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)The compensation and benefits information are accurate as of the date of this posting.
