We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in Shreveport, LA. In this role you will complete installation, repair and testing of fiber and the different components, splice loose tube and ribbon fiber in compliance with modern standards and connect and configure fiber optic networks for facilities while troubleshooting problems.

Daily field visits to ensure projects are following safety, quality control and productivity standardsDrives projects through systems for final development and budgetingAssists with defining labor and material needs, permitting requirements/needs, infrastructure nodes and plant connection points, locate services and city/county/state requirements and restrictionsDefines projects from job definitions, network integration needs and connection pointsManages overall path planning review, including site pictures, node integration and area resources including buildings, ground, and aerial assetsSupports Quality Control functions; onsite quality control checks, job hazard analysis, safety audits etc.Participates in the development of “Project Packets”Project development for new proposed projectsManages multiple stages of projects, keeping systems and records updatedMaintains network and asset knowledge and planning to include aerial and underground assets and network inventory knowledgeProvide excellent customer experience every dayOther duties as assigned Requirements Prior knowledge or experience with aerial and underground construction and network operationsPrior experience managing subcontractor partners is a plusOpen to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as neededAbility to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as neededAbility to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build processExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn and utilize software systemsAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customersAbility to travel, open to a variety of schedules; nights and/or weekends as neededAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbs as neededAbility to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standingAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains and job sitesValid driver’s license required; Class A CDL license a plusPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
