Complete Description:
• Project Coordinator Level – 1 to 3 + Years experience with an in-building wireless program in general
• Support Citywide (In-Building) Wireless and related capital build work under PL-402C account
• Update associated project data, schedules and related
• As work schedule permits participate in both on-site and / or in-office activities
• Process data associated with project/system identification, verification, design, project, acceptance, and ongoing capital (only) related life-cycle management
Fact gathering and reporting in a technology environment
• Other tasks within the scope of the project as appropriate
• Position will require someone who has ability to search, analyze and report on data
• Candidate must understand, or take the initiative for gaining sufficient understand, of the technical concepts involved with the work
Description Narrative:
Work with a positive sense of urgency and have ability to follow through on every detail and be able to prepare reports on a timely basis. Analyze data, use and update information systems and databases, demonstrate a basic understanding of how to search databases in general (in particular the C-IBW Microsoft SharePoint Portal, Microsoft Access workflow database, and / or C-IBW Quickbase information site.
Will be required to initiate contact with many levels of technology specialists across the District to gather data as well as explain value of Citywide Wireless, as a service, delivered in concert with DC-Net / OCTO and other stakeholders (agencies, contractors, other).
Must be willing to move around the District to visit any DC Agency.
