The Project Coordinator facilitates support activities for projects/programs within an assigned Region or Division and assists the Project Manager in managing onsite resources and logistics. The Project Coordinator will fully understand major H&M business components and implications. The Project Coordinator also ensures compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholds H&M safety and quality management protocols. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities The Project Coordinator is actively engaged in the management of the overall project life-cycle and provides timely reporting and contract related documents to management and stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will aid in ensuring that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performance requirements and congruent with the company's strategy. The ideal candidate will lead by example in an environment that fosters trust and candor, will maintain personal accountability, and will communicate assertively and constructively. Other responsibilities include: making recommendations regarding improvements to process enhancements. General office administration experience Set up work orders into MRP system Review timesheets and submit to payroll Claim production units Enter purchase requisitions Collect subcontractor/material tickets for accrual Prepare project invoices Attend department project/financial meetings Monitor Purchase order spend Requirements: Requires effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organize and prioritize work.
