Project Coordinator
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Project Coordinator, your role will be instrumental in providing both administrative and technical support within our IT department, as well as serving as an analyst on intra- and interdepartmental projects. This role is pivotal in enhancing the value IT contributes to our organization and achieving our goals. Responsibilities: • Collaborate extensively with all stakeholders, including department management, to ensure the department's alignment with our organization's goals and operational effectiveness. • Manage and process contracts, maintaining a database of all current department subscriptions and contracts. • Coordinate weekly department meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, and maintenance of meeting minutes. • Oversee the logistics and event planning for all department retreats and social events, both onsite and offsite. • Assist team members in preparing and editing materials for dispersal to internal and external stakeholders. • Manage the director's calendar and email, including scheduling. • Provide support to the IT Help Desk as necessary. • Manage projects and timelines to keep the team updated. • Identify opportunities for improving departmental processes for IT employees to effectively accomplish their work and reach department goals. • Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Budget Processes, Communication, Construction, and Contracts. Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the healthcare or social assistance sector • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and CRM systems • Knowledge of 'About Time' software preferred • Understanding of budget processes within the healthcare industry • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience in construction and understanding of contracts is advantageous • Ability to work in a team and coordinate project tasks effectively • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently and take initiative when required • Must adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality • Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
