Project Coordinator
Description We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in the IT Software industry located in Richardson, Texas. This role involves coordinating and scheduling on-site activities, assessing technician workload, and maintaining communication with both internal and third-party technicians. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing work orders, equipment ordering, and coordinating with project management and quality assurance teams. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and schedule on-site activities with various stakeholders • Oversee the assignment of work orders to field technicians using dispatch and ticketing systems • Evaluate technician availability and workload to determine optimal deployment strategies • Liaise with third-party providers to assign work orders when internal technicians are unavailable • Update work orders and coordinate with technicians to record job status • Manage the ordering of equipment needed to complete work orders • Collaborate with project management and quality assurance teams to coordinate site visits and surveys as needed • Communicate with clients regarding the billing for completed work orders Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. • Demonstrated experience in a Project Coordinator role within the IT Software industry is essential. • Proficiency in handling Work Orders is necessary. • Proficiency in using Ticketing Systems is necessary. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Proven experience in coordinating with different teams and stakeholders. • Knowledge of project management methodologies and software platforms is required. • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. • Must have a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to take initiative. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
