The ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order entry position. What we value: + Intelligent, entrepreneurial and industrious individuals looking to apply themselves creatively + Individuals who are comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas, and driving change + Energetic teammates looking for more than just a job to pay the bills + Passionate individuals who naturally do more than is asked The primary responsibilities of Project Coordinator/Large Projects include: + Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information throughout the lifecycle of a project + Ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget, delivered effectively, and meet high-quality standards by understanding project scope, budget, and objectives + Break down big-picture projects and develop effective project schedules with clear and concise timelines for completion + Regular status meetings with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure all needs are met as projects evolve + Problem Solving - Identify potential risks, challenges, and navigate to find creative options to deliver a solution + Lead project kickoff meetings with the support and participation of inside sales, outside sales, and management as appropriate + Customer Service is KEY - Stay in constant communication with clients and vendors to ensure all needs are met as projects evolve + Provide regular project updates to various stakeholders as required by the project + Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables + Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed + Enter and manage orders using the entirety of the P21 system (including sales orders, service orders, etc) as appropriate + Responsibility for cost and revenue recognition in addition to preparing invoices + Perform purchasing activities including vendor management and PO creation and tracking + Requires close coordination with multiple departments within Cogent including outside sales, inside sales, other order coordinator groups, controls, service, reliability, etc as project requirements dictate PositionOrder Coordinator Position Requirements Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: + Must be a team player + Must have strong organizational skills + Must be detail-oriented + Must be an analytical problem solver + Must be able to multitask task + Must have strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines + Must have a customer service attitude + Must be a high-paced self-motivator + Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Google Drive, and Gmail + Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations + Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time while typing and reading on the computer + Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP software programs preferred + Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred Who we are: Cogent is a growing, Midwest company that provides creative and innovative fluid processing solutions.
