Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description

Responsible for specific technical design aspects of a project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs. Participates in conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project. Coordinates with Project Management, other architects, and consultants. May provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the production and coordination of project deliverables, under the supervision of a Registered Architect.Maintain and distribute all project files.Develop and maintain BIM models in compliance with company standards.Provide troubleshooting and modeling assistance to BIM modelers and consultants.Coordinate with consultants and design assist partners to create accurate and clash-free models and project deliverables.Serve as the primary contact for consultant communication.Assist with quality control activities.Support code analysis, specifications, coordination of building systems, and other technical project aspects as assigned by the Project Manager/Architect.Submit permit sets to the AHJ and respond to comments as needed.Assist with construction administration activities including submittal review, RFI responses, site observations, field report preparation, and other aspects as assigned by the Project Manager/Architect.Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.Assist in field surveys, documenting existing features of facilities and translating field conditions into accurate virtual models.Produce or oversee the production of compelling architectural visualizations and graphics.Assist in the development of processes and systems to improve project deliverables and their production.Perform key responsibilities noted above during all project phases.Essential SkillsStrong working knowledge of Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.Basic understanding of AutoCAD.Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and basic detailing.Demonstrated skills in production and coordination of project deliverables.Ability to interact positively with others, solve problems, and constructively communicate those solutions.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsThree to five years of related experience.Proficiency in visualization and graphic software.Knowledge of local codes and regulations.Actively pursuing registration (not required but ideal).Preference given to local candidates.Work Environment

This is a mid-size firm of around 40 people. The work environment is professional, based in an office, with a business casual dress code that may vary based on client interaction. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $37.50
